Summary of Priority Ideas

 

Quality of Life

 

1.  Pave all dirt roads.

 

2.   Better codes enforcement.

 

3.   Everyone should pay taxes.

 

Natural Resources and Recreation

 

1.  Mosquito control.

 

2. Speed ontrol - no wake zone areas.

 

3.  Better information on lake protection.

 

Transportation and Infrastructure

 

1.  Paving of existing roads and better maintenance.

 

2.  Do not use emergency vehicles for non-emergency transport.

 

3.  Maintenance of private roads.

                                                             

4.  Elimination of Rural Centers.

NOTE:  The tabulation at the workshop had elimination of rural centers as priority #3, however additional votes after tabulation resulted in the final vote including maintenance of private roads as priority #3.

 

Economic Development

 

1. Tax everybody.

 

2. More industry.

 

3. Pave roads.
