The Putnam County Information Technology Department provides computer related services to all county offices. The offices served include the Board of County Commissioners, the Clerk of Courts, the Property Appraiser, the Sheriff, the Supervisor of Elections and the Tax Collector.

 

The major services provided are:

Systems analysis
Programming
Geographic Information Systems
Support and enhancement of purchased software applications
Operation, maintenance, and repair of computer hardware
Installation, relocation and removal of computer hardware

Frequently Asked Questions

 

What printouts of county information are available and what are the costs?

Property owners’ names and addresses - These printouts are available for four cents per parcel subject to a $25.00 minimum charge.

Property sales records - These printouts are available for six cents per parcel subject to a $25.00 minimum charge.

Occupational licenses - These printouts are available for four cents per license subject to a $25.00 minimum charge.

Items 1 and 3 above are also available on labels for an additional charge of $3.00 per thousand.

 

What county information is available on magnetic media and what are the costs?

For the real property tax roll the NAL or "12D.8" tape is available on ½" 9 channel tape in ASCII or EBCDIC for $400.00.

The annual delinquent property list, as advertised in the newspaper, is available on 3 ½" diskette for $25.00.

 

Can I access county information from my PC and what are the costs?

Yes, you can obtain dial-up access to county information for which public computer access is currently available in any county office. The charges are:

$400.00 one-time access fee

$50.00 deposit

$40.00 per month for up to 20 hours

.05¢ per minute in excess of 20 hours in one month
