Types of Permits:

      
1.   Walk-Thru
  a)    Minimum Scope.
  b) Less than $2500 in valuation or $5000 for exact replacements of mechanical systems.
  c) No Planning & Zoning Approval Required.
       
2.   A.T.F. (After The Fact)
  a) Work started prior to receiving permit.
  b) Exceeding scope of permit.
  c) Not having a required permit.
  (You broke the Law, 2x fee & possible legal, / code enforcement disciplinary action.)
       
3. Post Card Permits
  ( Available to Contractors ONLY )
  a) Pilot Program, continuance depends upon participation & compliance.
  b) Primarily for After-Hours or Emergency repairs.
  c) Scope as detailed in "Walk-Thru" permits.
     
4. Building Permits
  ( Everything Else )
        
5. Permit Revision
  a) To add scope to an existing Permit.
  b) To delete scope from an existing Permit.
  c) To change scope to an existing Permit.
  d) May not be used for a Walk-Thru or Post Card Permit
